Jacqui Lees is one of the consulting industry’s unsung heroes. She champions chartership, grows talent, and builds a better future for our planet and its people. Jacqui isn’t the type of person that puts herself ‘out there’, but her arm has been twisted by colleagues and clients for this award because of the impact she has every day.
As one of the first Chartered Management Consultants in the world and a Fellow of the Institute of Consulting (IC), Jacqui has spent over two decades providing outstanding consulting services to an impressive list of public sector clients, whilst also ensuring organisations and colleagues grow.
As a career consultant and working in the engineering profession, she’s always recognised the importance of chartership, and champions professionalisation both in house, as the youngest assessor for the Certified Management Consultant Award, and at an industry level on the skills council for the IC. Jacqui has always been passionate about sustainability, something that was turbocharged by COVID.
As the world focused on digital transformation, she made it her mission to use her transformation expertise and high levels of emotional intelligence to ensure that AtkinsRéalis, clients, and the consulting industry, were doing all they could to lead the charge to create a more sustainable world. Ultimately, by breaking down what is complex behavioural transformation into manageable chunks, she’s ensuring we protect the planet for her daughter and future generations. There are few better practitioners of, and ambassadors for, our craft – Jacqui would be a worthy winner.
