I have dedicated 25 years to the public sector before joining consultancy. My transition to consultancy has widened my impact, allowing me to bridge the public and private sectors to tackle housing challenges more effectively.
In my consultancy role, I focus on client needs, building trust, and delivering impactful solutions. Notably, I have supported Cornwall Council in stabilising housing delivery, Westminster Council in developing a shared vision for their leadership team and have supported Hackney to deliver much needed affordable housing.
My critical thinking aids me in solving complex problems, like developing a stalled sites toolkit for Hackney Council, facilitating evidence-based decision-making to unlock housing delivery.
Additionally, my expertise extends to public speaking engagements and mentoring, demonstrating my commitment to advancing the housing and built environment sectors.
In summary, my career transition showcases my adaptability, leadership, and expertise in addressing housing challenges, making me a deserving nominee for the Rising Star Award.
