MCA Awards 2024 FinalistBecca began her Consultancy career in September 2022 on the NECS Consultancy Graduate Scheme. Her dedication to excel in all areas of her graduate scheme – delivering the best outputs for clients, graduate competency framework and internal initiatives – has seen her awarded her team’s ‘Most Valuable Person’ award two years in a row.

Becca is a champion for equality and diversity and empowering the voice of others within her own organisation, for her clients and their service users and the wider Consultancy sector. Early in her graduate scheme, Becca became Co-Chair of the NECS Women and Carers in Consultancy network, and her inclusive leadership style has driven learning and development across her organisation, whilst creating a safe supportive environment for members. As engagement lead on behalf of Wrexham County Borough Council, she represented the voice of citizens in the development of new integrated health and social care wellbeing hubs.

As a Graduate Consultant, Becca has cultivated a values-driven approach to her practice. Through her altruism, compassion, collaborative working style, and her inclusive communication skills, Becca has become a trusted team member and advisor to clients working on politically sensitive projects.

Becca has already made a meaningful impact both within NECS Consultancy and for her clients, delivering positive outcomes together with compassionate teamworking and leadership. As she progresses in her consultancy career, Becca feels passionately about the importance of continuing to advocate for the voice of not just her colleagues and clients, but also the citizens who access client services.
