Poppy has pushed herself out of her comfort zone throughout her life, from sporting achievements in her youth, to the present day, where she’s committed to achieving excellence that exceeds expectations of her peer group. Choosing a career that was going to give her this opportunity was important, and with PwC being a pioneer for change, she knew it was the perfect environment in which to start her career.
Poppy has demonstrated exceptional qualities since joining PwC as a higher apprentice in 2021. Her client-facing experience within financial services has been marked by her ability to build positive stakeholder relationships and deliver key projects successfully. Poppy’s development is evident in her ability to identify and eliminate obstacles to performance, communicate a clear vision, and motivate others to achieve objectives.
Poppy’s communication skills are outstanding; she adapts content and style to suit her audience, and encourages others to share their views. Her analytical skills allow her to provide valuable insights, driving transformation success. Poppy excels in critical thinking, breaking down complex problems and developing creative solutions. On a £600 million deal, Poppy identified a significant gap in the client’s risk management, and led the approach to solve it.
