PWC UK SENIOR MANAGER, EMILY NOVAKOVIC, ON THE IMPORTANCE OF THE CHMC AWARD

Emily Novakovic is the People and Organisation Manager at PwC UK. Emily was selected as one of 300 consultants to go through the ChMC pilot at PwC and believes that being Chartered will keep her at the forefront of the industry, explaining: “I am committed to having a long and successful career in consulting and so ensuring that I am accredited by an industry standard is essential to this.”

“As a management consultant, the most important thing is to be a trusted advisor to my clients and to be able to deliver real value to them and their business. This Award has allowed me to do this and stay ahead of the curve in an inconsistently changing landscape.”

I definitely think this Award has helped boost my career prospects and to make me a better management consultant. The emphasis on the competency framework places on ethical behaviour has made me reflect that we can all make a difference in our day-to-day engagements, helping me to have better and more rounded client conversations.

“It’s really important to me that I am assessed against an industry benchmark and remain relevant in a changing landscape.”

“This Award has a positive effect on me as an individual, but also my organisation. It’s easy for anyone to get tied up in ‘the way we do things around here’, whatever firm you work for. This Chartership is helping us all lift our focus and consider consulting as a profession, rather than simply a professional services offering. We can be more confident in the value we deliver to clients, operate more effectively and build further trust and recognition with our clients.”

“Becoming a Chartered Management Consultant has given me a lot of confidence in my ability. This process has reassured me that I have matured into a strong consultant who delivers excellence to my clients.”
