Since entering consulting two years ago, Adam has demonstrated that the best consultants don’t simply deliver great solutions but leave every client, team and individual better than they found them. This belief is personal for Adam: growing up in rural Devon, a disadvantaged area with one of the lowest social mobilities in the UK, he saw first-hand the negative impact that limited economic opportunities have on his friends and their families.
This background has clearly instilled in him a strong sense of community and the desire to lift others. And it drove Adam to become one of the first people from his locality to join a major consulting firm. Since then, he has used his consulting position to empower others to drive meaningful change for clients, society and individuals.
Whether enabling clients to accelerate decarbonisation – helping a MENA client unlock £20m+ revenues and £330m+ in cashflows – or mentoring 15+ colleagues to achieve their career aspirations, Adam’s greatest source of pride comes not only from his work, but the people he has helped along the way. For example, his work has positively impacted three million people in the Middle East, including disadvantaged customers struggling to pay their bills. He believes it is not the impact we make alone which makes the difference, but the ripples we create together that extend far beyond any one project or company.
