Laura Flynn, EY

Laura Flynn has made an immense contribution to our People Advisory Services (PAS) practice, earning her promotion from Manager to Senior Manager and now Director in just four years.  

Laura specialises in leading the delivery of large-scale transformation programmes, with a focus on operating model and organisational design programmes. The often timesensitive nature of these programmes demonstrates Laura’s ability to partner closely and effectively with clients, while building a team of ’superstar’ consultants to ensure quality delivery. 

Her recent projects include: leading Ireland’s biggest transformation programme for a government department since the foundation of the state; helping a major utility company bring together functions involving 31 local authorities and 3,400 staff; and transforming the 1,200-strong IT function of a key client. 

Laura’s passion for people is not limited to her day job. In addition to being Head of Operations for our PAS team, Laura has held the role of People Engagement Lead, Learning and Development Lead, and has been recognised as a role model across the practice. 

Laura’s previous experience in senior HR leadership roles in London (at, Bank of New York Mellon and Eurostar International) has given her a deep understanding of people management and team leadership, and an appreciation for how important they are as drivers of personal and business performance. This, coupled with her background in psychology and occupational psychology, makes Laura an exceptional team leader.
