Established in 2016, Procura is a rapidly growing specialist in procurement cost reduction. Our consultants use the latest approaches and proprietary tools to help organisations achieve cost savings through procurement excellence. We offer a range of success-based fee models and work closely with clients to build long-term partnerships that support continuous improvement and add sustainable value.  

Our mission is to create significant EBIT improvement, sustainable operational improvement and real competitive advantage for our clients through procurement excellence.  

For example, we’re working with Liberty Steel to deliver significant profit improvement whilst building a best-in-class group procurement function. We’ve helped Adelie Foods add to their bottom line, while global app developer ThoughtWorks has seen double-digit savings. We helped legal firm Shoosmiths improve margin, and we’ve helped three NHS Trusts in Dorset collaborate on a single procurement function, while targeting a programme of savings for Dorset County Hospital.  

Procura’s Identify, Deliver and Maintain model ensures we add tangible value at every stage.  


Using our proprietary ProIntell platform, we identify and quantify opportunities for savings and performance improvement. We then assess the impact of different procurement strategies and produce a savings forecast and implementation plan.  


Our consultants work alongside clients to deliver the savings, transfer knowledge and embed best practice. We’ve also developed a portfolio of pre-sourced, pre-agreed frameworks accessible through our ProSource tool to save on common business overheads.  


We offer services to maintain the savings benefits, from ongoing monitoring and benchmarking of the cost base through ProIntell, to on-demand sourcing, to recruitment of procurement specialists through our own ProSearch business.

With a prestigious client portfolio spanning the UK, Europe and the US, our turnover is on-target to grow another 50% by the end of 2019. Our growth is fuelled by a compelling service offer and commitment to the highest professional standards.   

We ensure best value by investing in smart internal processes that optimise efficiency, such as MethodGrid software to provide a central repository for our methodologies and ensure that consultants always have easy access to the tools they need.  

Procura is member of the MCA and supports the values of Consulting Excellence. We’re also focused on Thought Leadership and our consultants regularly publish opinion pieces that are based around topical issues and best practice.
