A management consulting firm that successfully transformed future global logistics won the prestigious Project of the Year Award at this year’s MCA Awards for the consulting industry.
Held at a packed Park Plaza Hotel in Westminster, the Awards evening brought together consulting firms and their clients to recognise outstanding projects and individual management consultants.
PwC has worked collaboratively with Rolls Royce Holdings Plc. to deliver an 18-month strategy-through-to-execution transformation project. The outcomes exceeded the targets for cost reduction, improved service levels, application of digital technologies and rigorous quality control.
Alan Leaman, Chief Executive of the MCA, said:
“To understand how to improve UK productivity and prosperity, you can do no better than look at the MCA Awards. This year the competition was of a higher standard than ever. Time and again, the finalist projects demonstrate the value of interventions to improve performance, transform businesses, take advantage of digital and raise the quality of public services.
The Project of the Year with Rolls Royce demonstrates the huge commercial and business benefits of working closely with a strong consulting team, particularly at a time of disruption and economic pressure.
Congratulations to all the winners and finalists. Consulting today is more targeted, focussed, value-driven and valuable than ever!”
Awards for Consulting Excellence were given this year to PPL (for Ethical Behaviour), OEE Consulting (for Client Service and Value) and Thales Cyber & Consulting (for Professional Development).
