- The Award recognises the most exceptional consultant who holds Chartered status
- Individuals from Arcadis, EY, PwC, KPMG and Mott MacDonald are all finalists
The Management Consultancies Association (MCA) has unveiled the finalists for the Chartered Management Consultant of the Year Award (ChMC) for the MCA Awards 2023.
The category recognises outstanding consultants who have been awarded Chartered status, who have exceptional expertise, experience, and talent within the consulting profession.
ChMC Accreditation was developed to set and maintain the highest standards in management consulting and to reward consistent high levels of professional competence and achievement.
The Chartered Management Consultant of the Year, now in its second year, is awarded to a Chartered consultant who has shown they have all the qualities required for the accreditation and have applied them to deliver real impact for their clients and the organisations they serve.
There are now more than 750 Chartered Management Consultants with thousands on the journey and, over the past year, there has been a 30% increase in consultants pursuing this accreditation.
As a growing number of consultancy firms encourage their colleagues to undertake ChMC accreditation, it reflects a renewed focus on professional development and an industry-wide commitment to elevating standards.
Tamzen Isacsson, Chief Executive of the Management Consultancies Association (MCA), stated,
“The ChMC accreditation provides a roadmap for consultants to continuously develop their skills and competencies, enhance their professional standing, and make a positive impact on the organisations and industries they serve.
“These individuals have showcased exceptional skills, knowledge, and dedication to the consulting profession. We look forward to celebrating their achievements, following their interviews by the independent judging panel, at the awards ceremony in October.”
Ann Francke OBE, Chief Executive of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and judge, remarked,
“The Chartered Management Consultant of the Year Award recognises the exceptional talent and expertise of consultants who have attained Chartered status.
