30 of the UK’s leading consulting firms will be competing for the industry’s prestigious MCA Awards at a gala dinner on Thursday 26th April.
The MCA awards are the benchmark of quality within the profession, celebrating the best projects, individuals and initiatives in the UK consulting industry. Now entering their 21st year (2018), we are pleased to announce this year’s finalists.
Deloitte lead the way with 17 finalists, followed by PwC with 10. Other notable tallies include Arup with 9, IBM with 6 and Arcadis, GE Healthcare Partners and Mason Advisory with 4 each. Many of the UK’s specialist consulting firms are also well represented, making up around half of the firms on this year’s shortlist.
54 client organisations in total will be represented on the evening. Rolls Royce and Easyjet are amongst a robust consumer brand presence. Meanwhile, public-sector clients continue to be strongly represented with a number of exciting council, police and NHS as well as central government projects included.
Alan Leaman, CEO of the MCA, commented:
“The value of consulting has probably never been more important. British businesses are dealing with the consequences of the Brexit vote, a difficult economic outlook and massive levels of disruption and digitization. At the same time, the public sector is drawing on the best consultancies in order to achieve better value for taxpayers’ money and improve the quality of public services. These hard-fought Awards provide compelling evidence of the value of that consulting input.”
The Times Consultant of the Year will also be announced on the night, as well as the overall Project of the Year and Best New Consultancy. The Times will also be featuring all winners in a special supplement after the main event.
